MANIFESTING JESUS THROUGH YOUR LIFE
Manifesting Jesus in Your Work Place! What does that mean?
Does it mean acting religious and making sure everyone sees you read the Bible on lunch break? NO!
Manifesting Jesus is your work place means :
- Seek to be a Servant
That’s what Jesus did! Philippians 2:6-7, ‘Although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped but emptied Himself taking the form of a servant’
That’s what Joseph did! He was the favoured son of a wealthy patriarch, but he humbled himself to be a GOOD SERVANT to Potiphar.
God asks the same thing of us! Jesus said, “whoever wishes to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first and most important among you must be slave of all.” (Mark 10:43-44) Jesus wants to manifest His servant heart through You!
Being a Servant means:
- You die to self-promotion
- Submit your gift where God has planted you
- Be willing to do the unpopular task
- Don’t fear being hidden for a season. (Promotion comes from God)
- Seek to become a Skilled Servant! (Continue to develop your gifts)
2. Seek To Be A Blessing
Joseph was Promoted because he brought the blessing of God to Potiphar’s house. When you bring blessing to those around you, PROMOTION happens! Your employer is always looking for people who will help him to prosper! God put you in your job to Release His blessing to Others!
God is not looking to see how much ability you have. God is looking to see how faithful you have been with what He gave you. Faithfulness is always rewarded. When God finds you Faithful, He can entrust you with more. Jesus said, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little, I will put you in charge of many things; share in the joy of your master.’ (Matthew 25:21) A key element in your Breakthrough is becoming a person of Faithfulness!
How does the King get into your field? You Carry Him In! You allow Jesus to manifest His humble servant’s heart through you! Release His blessing wherever you are! Demonstrate His faithfulness and the glory of the King will be established in your field!
