Acts of Grace Pentecost

This is a very important season.  It is a season of Giving and Receiving.  It is in this season God gave the 10 Commandments to the Israelites.  It is also the season God gave the Holy Spirit to empower the children of God to be the extension of Jesus Christ on the earth!

Pentecost (in Greek means ‘fiftieth’), is referred to in Acts 2:1, 20:16, 1 Corinthians 16:8.  It celebrates the 50th day after Jesus’ Resurrection.  Significantly, in this season we celebrate the 50th year of the Reunification of Jerusalem!

It is also a season to Receive God’s Provision!  The feast is first spoken of in Exodus 23:16 as the “Feast of Harvest” and again in Exodus 34:22 as “the day of the Firstfruits”.  Everyone was to bring to the Lord his “tribute of a free-will offering” to commemorate the completion of the grain harvest.  Celebrating Pentecost actually unlocks and releases God’s provision for a new season!  So as we celebrate Pentecost this morning, EXPECT GOD to open new provision for you in the days ahead!

(Robert Heidler – Glory of Zion Ministry)

Sivan is the third month in the Biblical calendar.  The Hebrew letter for Sivan is ‘Zayin’.  It is the same letter as this year 5777.  Zayin is a ‘crowned’ letter, so this is the season when things Hoped for becomes a reality!  Zayin is a picture of a Royal Sceptre.  It is a time of Favour!  So this is a season of BLESSING!

Sivan is the season of Receiving New Boundaries.  At Sinai God began to set boundaries for His people.  Boundaries help to define your identity.  When God set boundaries for Israel He was defining them as a nation.

Sivan is also the season to Press Into the New Boundaries God is setting for you.  Let God bring you into a fresh manifestation of your identity as He redefines your boundaries.

Sivan is associated with the tribe of Zebulun.  Zebulun was the 10th son of Jacob.  The tribe of Zebulun was noted for their ability in “Business”.  So Sivan is the Businessman season!  God wants you to learn prosperity principles this month.  He also wants you to do some “business” with Him.

How Do We Get Our Borders Expanded?

Matthew 25:21, ‘Because you were faithful over a few things, I will make you rule over many.’  That was Zebulun’s secret!  He was FAITHFUL over everything God commanded him to do!  So press into God’s call on your life and receive the new boundaries God is setting for you!  In this season of Sivan, celebrate Pentecost! Let God Enlarge Your Boundaries to bring you into the fullness of your destiny!
