So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.

‘Who are you, O great mountain?  Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!  And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’

“Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but wait in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” (Luke 24:49)

We are living at the end of times and we are reminded by the Lord of the command not to leave Jerusalem until we receive the Holy Spirit and then He ascended.  Jesus’ ascension gives us an assurance that we also will ascend from the earthly to the heavenly, from just being human to divine, from impossibilities to the possibilities.  This is the time of ascension!

When the Master says something to us, we must respond immediately.  That makes us ‘Apostolic’.  The word ‘apostolic’ comes from the life of the Ox.  The Ox comes to its Master every day and it is ‘sent forth’ to lengthen, strengthen for others to follow later.  It goes and works the whole day and only returns at sunset and sits at the Master’s feet.  Early morning the Master sends it out again.  The sent out ones!  God wants to send us out so that we can extend, expand and occupy greater territory for the Kingdom of God.  Bring back the spoils of war.  That’s where you get the word ‘Apostle’.  One that is constantly being sent forth from the presence of God, to be able to do wonders.  Jesus was not ashamed to be likened to an Ox, He was not ashamed to be called an Apostle because God sent Him forth!

When you look at the Heavens this month, you will see a star formation in the shape of an Ox.  The way an Ox fights is to put its head down and throw everything upwards.  So when we look at the Heavens we see God speaking through an Ox, not to pull us down but to cause us to rise up!  Not that we may lose but that we will gain!  Not that we’ll become a bankrupt but that we will become prosperous!

In Zechariah 4, the word ‘Lord of Hosts’ speaks of a warring God.  A God that goes to war on your behalf.  ‘Hosts’ means an army.  You are not alone!  You have a host of angelic forces behind you but you must allow the Lord to protect you.  You must be willing to come under the Lord’s covering because He is the one who protects you.  If you do that, God says He the Warrior God will fight for you.  He will fight against sickness, against disease, against poverty. He will fight against anything that is making you miserable.  Not by our might, not by our power but by the Spirit of God!  Same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead.  That same Spirit that raised Him from the grave is also within us and if we will submit to Him, He will also cause that Spirit to cause us to arise and overcome!  Beloved, are you under His covering?  Is He truly the Lord in your life?

There are many challenges we face today, like never before.  But this is the season things are turning around!  This is the season curses are broken and in its place comes blessings.  This is the season where death is swallowed up in victory!  We are reminded the Lamb of God wasslain but He arose!  This is the time of Resurrection!  This is the time to believe the unbelievable.  This is the time to begin to see the invisible and to call forth things that are not there as though they are there!  HalleluYah!
