Acts of Grace April 2, 2017

April 2, 2017

It started when Joseph was 17 years old. God showed Joseph favour through his father and because of this favour Joseph received a special coat. Genesis 37:3, ‘Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.’ Then Joseph received a dream from God and when he shared this dream with his brothers, they hated him even more.

For the dream to come true it took many years. Joseph became a slave, was accused by Potiphar’s wife, was put in prison before finally becoming the longest ruling Prime Minister in history. The Word of the Lord says, God tested him, to see if he believed in what was spoken over him. God tested him to show him what was in his heart. And when all the testing was over, the Lord turned it around all of a sudden. He picked him up from the dungeon and placed him beside the throne. God used Joseph to save himself, save his family then to save Egypt. God loves Egypt. He wants to save Egypt and He wants to save the world. He did it through one man. Beloved, I want to say to you, you can be that one man. You can be that one girl. You can be that one child.

Genesis 39:5, ‘So it was, from the time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was on all that he had in the house and in the field.’ Favour means grace. The Lord was with Joseph and he was a successful

man. He was in the house of his master, the Egyptian, and his master saw that the Lord was with him and the Lord made all he did to prosper. When you say ‘yes’ to the Lord; no matter how low you go down in life, no matter where people may put you in life; everything you touch, God will cause it to prosper because of favour and grace. Because you still believe in your dream. Because you still believe in your God.

When you are in transition, you can rely on God for supernatural favour, even if you are in a foreign country, a foreign system, a difficult system, you can become successful and prosperous during the time of transition, like Joseph! The Bible says, all that was meant for evil against Joseph, God turned it around for good! All that is meant for evil against you, all that is meant for evil against the Church of Jesus Christ in this land. All that was meant for evil, God is about to turn it around for good; for you, for your family and for the nation! If you will still hold on to your dreams! Joseph chose to be a blessing even in prison, even in false accusation, even in hatred, even in bitterness and betrayal. He chose to believe in God.

God’s will is to save not to destroy. But He needs a man, He needs a woman. He raised up one man and when He can’t find a man, He begins with a boy. And when He can’t find even a boy, He begins with a baby. But He always has a plan and the plan is always fulfilled through a man or a woman!

Nisan is the first month of the biblical year (Exodus 12). This is the month of the Spring feasts; the month of Passover, Unleavened Bread and Firstfruits.

The root word for Nisan is ‘Nissim’, which means Miracles! So expect miracles this month. Nissim also means Redemption! It’s a time to celebrate Redemption by the blood of Jesus, our Passover Lamb, and the Miracle of His resurrection!

The Jews also call this month ‘Aviv’. In Hebrew, ‘Aviv’ means Spring time. Another Hebrew word for Spring is ‘Tishuvah’, which is also the word for Repentance. Repentance is turning away from a cold, dead season and moving into a season of Life. So Aviv is the month to be cleansed from anything that held you in an old season, so you are free to move forward into God’s promise.

Nisan is the month to Align your life to receive an Abundant Harvest! God’s goal for your life is ‘Harvest’. He wants your barns to be filled and your vats to overflow, to experience the fullness of His promised blessing. God also wants you to see a harvest of righteousness and a harvest of souls! But there is a timing in Harvest. Psalm 1 tells us that God wants you to be like a flourishing tree that brings forth its fruit, in its season. Ecclesiastes 3 tells us there is a time and a season for everything; a time to plant seeds and a time to reap harvest.

In every sphere of life, be sure you are aligned with the highest level apostolic

anointing. For Israel, in the month of Nisan God aligned them with Moses. Then under Moses’ LEADERSHIP, God took them to Sinai and taught them alignment in every area of life.

He aligned them PHYSICALLY! God put the Tabernacle in the center and positioned the tribes around it. And that meant, all the tribes first of all were aligned correctly with each other but more importantly, they were aligned with God and His presence. When all was aligned, it created a place where God’s glory could come and dwell in their midst!

God also aligned them with His TIMING! God never changes but His seasons do. What worked last season won’t always work this season. Each season has its own mood, its own prophetic significance. That’s why, if we want to walk in God’s blessing, we need to align ourselves with God’s timing!

Nisan is always associated with the Tribe of Judah. God has an order for Victory – Judah goes first! Judah knew how to use sound for breakthrough. Judah repented first. Passover is so important because that’s when the Lord went to the cross, gave His life, to redeem You! He went because it was all about You! He went because He knew that you had a redemptive plan that only He, by His obedience could unlock into your bloodline. So when you submit your life back to Him, that redemptive plan starts in action.

Let God align you with His times to experience the fullness of His Harvest!
