SEASON OF 19 : 19 Heroes Of Faith – Part 1

This is the 19th year. It can also be called the 19th cycle or the 19th season.  God is very, very detailed in His working with the nations. When you look at the number 19, it speaks about many things and one of the most significant is the account of the 19 heroes of faith in the book of Hebrews.

Hebrews Chapter 11 speaks about the 19 heroes of faith.  All of world history is centered on these 19 people. So, when God writes His history or even man writes his history, it centers on these men of faith – godly men, who determined the destiny of nations and continents. These 19 heroes of faith stepped from the natural into the supernatural, from the human into the divine and from the temporal into the eternal. They saw the invisible, believed in the unbelievable, hoped for the hopeless and called forth things that were not there as though they were there. They called them forth by name so that from the spirit realm, they materialized into the physical realm.

God in this season is calling us to a higher level of faith because we will face that wall, we will face our limits.  He says now you have to come to the end of all that you can expect or you believe. I want you to step up into a higher dimension, into the realm of the humanly impossible as was lived out by the heroes of faith in Hebrews 11.You can be one of these heroes. It was all written to set the example for us.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not   made of things which are visible.  (Hebrews 11:1-3)

Hebrew 11:1 describes Faith. Now, what is faith?  Faith is outside of our five senses. God is not limited to our five senses. He is beyond the five senses.  That is why some people say, “You are talking nonsense.”  Yes, I am talking non-sense because it has nothing to do with the five senses and everything to do with non-sense.  So God is saying, come out of your cage of limitations. Come out of the imprisonment of human rational because God is not subject to our human reasoning.  He is beyond these.

So, I challenge you to come up and rise up.  Step from the mind to the heart, because God deals with the heart.  All the issues of life come from the heart. For with the heart man believes to eternal life.  So, I am talking to your heart because God is after your heart.

Faith is substance. Faith, as far as God is concerned, is the substance.  In the natural, it may seem as if it is nothing.  But in the eyes and in the mind of God when you have faith, you already have substance.  You and I say that the five senses make up the substance. God says no, faith is divine substance. What do you mean? I’ve got nothing in my hands! But God says when we step into the world of faith, it becomes evidence in the spirit world.  So, you have substance in your hand. You have evidence in your hand. And God calls it Faith.

For by this the elders obtained a good testimony.  That is what gives us a good testimony. By faith, we understand the world was framed by the word of God.  So, the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. All the material that you see came from the immaterial and God calls that faith.  Beloved, what I am trying to say to you is, many things don’t exist. Many things are yet to be framed up because you and I have not stepped into the realm of faith and speak it into being.  Speak it into being! God is commanding us, just like Him, to call forth things that are not there as though they are there. Because God put it in your heart, speak it and it will come to pass.  I am challenging you to come up into the world of faith, into the realm of the impossible!

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

You have to believe that He is there though you cannot touch Him.  You have to believe that He is there though you cannot taste Him, smell Him or hear Him.  You have to believe. And God has put that kind of faith in all of us, to step out of our imprisonment and be set free into the impossible.  And you have such faith already in you. For the Scripture says all of us have been given an element of faith. It is in us. Use it for the glory of God.

We must believe God is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. And if you believe in Him, He says He will reward you. For whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.  Whosoever soweth of the flesh, will of the flesh reap corruption and death. But he who sows of the spirit, shall of the spirit reap life eternal. Whatever you sow in thought, whatever you sow in action, whatever you sow in speech, God says you will reap the harvest.  So, a lot of us suffer many things because of what we said with our mouth. Because we speak it, we are bound. So, from hence forth speak blessing, speak freedom! That’s why God says to think of the things that edify, that build – for in time, you will reap a blessed harvest!
